UpcomingAn Introduction to Orff Schulwerk

This workshop will offer participants an introduction to the Orff-Schulwerk approach to music and movement education, in nourishing the musicality of primary school and secondary students. Participants will experience the gradual development of musical skills and understanding, through speech and singing activities, body percussion and movement, leading to active-music-making and composition with instruments and improvisation. Throughout the day participants will have the opportunity to reflect on and discuss the application of an Orff-Schulwerk approach with students in their particular teaching settings.
